dr. jeff cohen
Dr. Cohen attended the University of Illinois and received his Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1984. Dr. Jeff continued his education at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as a B.S.D. in Dentistry. He completed an advanced degree program in General Practice at Illinois Masonic Medical center where he served as chief resident. He also completed an externship in Oral Surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.Dr. Cohen is a member of the International Congress of Oral implantologists (ICOI). ICOI membership signifies commitment to continuous study and training in the field of implantology. Members who are deeply committed to implant education. The result is a strong foundation of quality treatment for their patients.
Dr. Jeff remains committed to his education by participating in continuing education courses. He has advanced training in Periodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Jeff is involved in an advanced dental program at the Center for Restorative Excellence under the direct supervision of Dr. John Kois. Dr. Kois is recognized worldwide as a leader in advanced dental techniques. He is involved in incorporating technological advancements into the dental office and how to relate it to patient treatment. Dr. Jeff visits the Seattle-based Center for Advanced Learning 4 times per year to enhance his knowledge and skill. Dr. Cohen is involved in the Chicago Dental Society in the mediation and peer review committee.
In his free time, he enjoys football, triathlons and computers. He has three children, Paige, Taylor and Trevor.
dr. sharon goodzey
Dr. Goodzey graduated from Illinois Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She continued her education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, earning her DMD.
Dr. Goodzey’s professional affiliations include The Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, The American Dental Society and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. She is also a very active member of the North Shore Women Dentists and Central Lake County Dental Study Club.
Thru continuing education, Dr. Goodzey keeps current with modern dentistry particularly the practice of esthetic and restorative dentistry. Understanding every patient is unique with different needs she feels it is important for the patient to be an active partner in the process.
Dr. Goodzey’s free time is spent with her husband and two young sons. As a family they enjoy bike riding, swimming and lots of outdoor fun.
dr. laurence robert daitch
A graduate of the Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Daitch has been practicing dentistry since 1987. His dental interest includes cosmetic and complex reconstructive dentistry, but has significant experience in most facets of the profession. Dr. Daitch studied Economics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan near his childhood home in suburban Detroit. Dr. Daitch is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
In addition to helping his wife raise their three young boys, Dr. Daitch enjoys travel, alpine and nordic skiing, finance and music. He has recently earned an MBA at the University of Chicago
dr. janice genovese
Dr. Genovese received a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She continued her education at Loyola University Dental School where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr Genovese is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. She is the past president of the Arcolian Dental Arts Society~..’ Dr. Genovese remains committed to continuing dental education and has completed advanced courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including implants. She feels the doctor-patient relationship is essential to providing the utmost care to her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Genovese and her husband Russ enjoy spending time with their children and granddaughter, playing golf and traveling.
