Jeff Cohen, DDS

Dr. Cohen attended the University of Illinois and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1984. Dr. Jeff continued his education at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as a B.S.D. in Dentistry. He completed an advanced degree program in General Practice at Illinois Masonic Medical center where he served as chief resident. He also completed an externship in Oral Surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.Dr. Cohen is a member of the International Congress of Oral implantologists (ICOI). ICOI membership signifies commitment to continuous study and training in the field of implantology. Members who are deeply committed to implant education. The result is a strong foundation of quality treatment for their patients.
Dr. Cohen teaches dentists the Cerec process at the prestigious Scottsdale Center where he is a proud member of the Cerec Doctors Mentor Group. The Cerec Doctors Mentor Group is an exclusive group of dentists who have received extensive training in CEREC one-visit dentistry. Taking their passion for digital dentistry beyond CEREC proficiency, Cerec Doctors Mentors invest significant time and resources completing the comprehensive Cerec Doctors course curriculum, which equips them with the knowledge and skills to treat even the most complex cases. They also share their knowledge by helping to teach other dentists in the same courses they themselves have completed. Through their membership, Cerec Doctors Mentors teach new dentist in the field of Cerec Technology.
Dr. Cohen remains committed to his education by participating in continuing education courses. He has advanced training in Periodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Cohen is involved in an advanced dental program at the Center for Restorative Excellence under the direct supervision of Dr. John Kois. Dr. Kois is recognized worldwide as a leader in advanced dental techniques. He is involved in incorporating technological advancements into the dental office and how to relate it to patient treatment. Dr. Cohen is involved in the Chicago Dental Society in the mediation and peer review committee.
In his free time, Dr. Cohen enjoys sports, yoga, and is an avid runner. Go Cubs!
